Clay County Deputies Arrest Peterson Man on Drug Charge

SPENCER, IA (Northwestiowanow) – A Peterson man has been arrested on drug charges in Clay County following an incident Thursday night.

Deputies with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office report 42-year-old Peter Duran of Peterson was taken into custody at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office around 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5.

According to the report, Duran was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was subsequently charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance — Methamphetamine, First Offense.

He was held in the Clay County Jail awaiting an initial appearance before a magistrate.
