Spencer, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — The Clay County Foundation has received over half a million dollars to help with flood recovery. Director Terri Batschelet says donations came from all over the Midwest.

The Foundation is structured to help government and non-profit organizations that help, not directly to individuals. To date twenty-two entities have been awarded funds.

The Clay County Foundation is still accepting donations, and still awarding grants.
