Clay County, Iowa (Northwest Iowa Now) — Three local individuals have been hired to help lead and support the county’s ongoing disaster recovery efforts following this summer’s flood.

Sheriffa Jones has been appointed the Long Term Recovery Group’s Director, she will also continue as Executive Director of the Spencer Chamber.  Alison Munter has been hired as the Operations Assistant; and Megan Hanges has been hired as the Logistics & Volunteer Coordinator.

The Clay County Long Term Recovery Group is committed to “empower Clay County residents to rebuild, restore, and strengthen resiliency for a brighter future.”  These hires mark a significant step forward in fostering the long-term stability within Clay County.
