Orleans, IA — Arnolds Park / Okoboji Fire and Rescue issued a warning about ice conditions on area lakes. DNR biologist Andrew Carlson says NO ice should EVER be considered 100 percent safe.

Carlson says NEVER walk onto a frozen lake alone, and ALWAYS make sure someone knows your whereabouts.
