DOT Accepting Public Input on Osceola County Project

Osceola County, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The Iowa Department of Transportation is asking for public input on a proposed CULVERT replacement in Osceola county.

Officials plan to replace the existing box culvert on US 59 near Allendorf starting the summer of 2027. The project will require CLOSING U-S Highway 59, with a detour utilizing Iowa Highway 9, Highway 60 and County Road A-22.

The DOT is accepting public input online through March 23, 2026. Visit the Iowa DOT website for more information.
