Dutch Dominate at Bill Chambers Invitational

Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Spencer hosted the Bill Chambers Invitational Golf Tournament Monday at the Spencer Golf and Country Club.

Gavin Frederes was the medalist, representing MOC-Floyd Valley with a strong 4 under par final score. Clear Lake’s Kenny Fisher was 2nd with a 2 below Par.

Spencer was paced by Reid Doring’s 76, 4 over par on the day good for 8th. Doring wasn’t thrilled with his round but liked the way he recovered at points.

MOC-Floyd Valley won the team title with 298, 10 over par as a team. Humboldt was 2nd with a 311 and Clear Lake took 3rd with 312. Spencer was 4th with a 321 on the day. Spencer was disappointed with their play, but Harrison Daniels looks forward to improvement.
