Fenton, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A Fenton man has won 150 thousand dollars in a recent national Powerball drawing.

Edward Beisch matched four of the five numbers. Iowa Lottery officials say matching four of five would have paid 50 thousand dollars, but Beisch also purchased the one-dollar optional Powerplay option, which tripled his prize.

He purchased his ticket at the Estherville Kwik Star and redeemed it at the Iowa Lottery’s regional office in Mason City.
