Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Spencer’s annual Flag Fest celebrations will wrap up the weekend with the return of the Flight Breakfast at the Spencer Municipal Airport Sunday morning.

Retired airport director Gayle Brandt says after a multi-year hiatus, she is happy to report the popular event is back.

Brandt says the local EAA chapter is bringing back rides for curious kids and teens.

Iowa Lakes Community College recently opened a satellite classroom for aviation in Spencer, so Brandt says tours are available, too.

The Spencer Airport Flight Breakfast is this Sunday, June 14 serving from 7 am until noon.
