Spencer, Ia (Northwestiowanow.com) — The KICD News department received a news tip about a disturbance at the Spencer Hospital Emergency Room Friday. No official information is being released. The hospital issued a statement at 8:30 Friday night saying an unspecified “event” required a temporarily modification to emergency services, but throughout the situation the Emergency Department remained open and continued providing healthcare to patients. At that time hospital management said the emergency department had resumed “normal” operations.
