Storm Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Leadership comes naturally for Meg McKeon, the new Mayor of Storm Lake. Previously sitting on the city council and teaching at Buena Vista University, McKeon now finds herself the voice of the city. Yet it’s only possible because about 15 years ago, she CHOSE to move to Storm Lake.

That small town, friendly vibe is what McKeon finds pride in the most with her city.

As the new Storm Lake City Council starts working on the city’s priorities and issues, McKeon is ready to do whatever is needed.

Storm Lake City Council meets the first and third Monday of each month, and McKeon term as mayor expires in December 2029.
