GRAETTINGER, IA (Northwestiowanow) — The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident near Graettinger Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say the crash occurred around 4:33 p.m. on November 16 in the 3100 block of River Road. Investigators determined 19-year-old Carter Manwarren of Graettinger was southbound in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado when he lost control while negotiating a curve. The pickup entered the east ditch and rolled onto its passenger side.

Manwarren was the only occupant and was not injured. He was cited for failure to maintain control, a simple misdemeanor.

Damage to the truck is estimated at $1,500.
