Hit and Run Accident in Graettinger

Graettinger, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Hit and Run accident in Graettinger in the early morning hours of December 9th.

According to the release, the incident occurred at the Hillcrest Golf and Supper Club at approximately 12:25am. After an investigation, 64-year-old Paul Kelly of Graettinger was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony. Kelly was transported to the Palo Alto Conty Jail where he will await his initial appearance before a magistrate.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
