CLAY COUNTY, IA (NorthwestIowaNow) — Authorities are seeking help from the public to identify a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash early Thursday morning.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Thursday, September 25, along 360th Street, also known locally as Menards Blacktop. A black vehicle — possibly a 2003 or 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander — lost control in the 2000 mile of the road, striking a fence, a fence post, and a real estate sign before fleeing the scene.
