Terril, IA — The house in Terril that caught on fire Sunday caught on fire again overnight. Crews were called back to 201 Warner Avenue West this morning and are still on the scene. The nearby school is still open today and access is still possible from the South, but motorists are asked to go slow.

Fire crews from Terril, Wallingford, Milford, Estherville, and Spirit Lake were on the scene for about 2 and a half hours Sunday. At that time there was extensive damage to the kitchen and attic. We’re told now the house appears to be a total loss.

The Dickinson County Assessor’s website lists the owners as Joathon and katie Martinez.
