Orleans, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Northwest Iowa Fisheries Biologist Andrew Carlson updated us on two invasive species during his September update on KICD-AM.
First of all – the Eurasion Water Milfoil discovered in the Wahpeton canals has NOT resurfaced.
The Iowa DNR also continues to assess the damage – if any – caused by the appearance of gizzard shad in the lakes. That species is typically found in rivers.
