Labor Day Drug Charges

Ruthven, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Drug charges were filed against two Clay County residents following a traffic stop near Ruthven Labor Day evening.

22 year old Kaden Knephoff of Gillett Grove was stopped near the Highway 18 and 340th Avenue intersection around 11pm. The Deputy searched the vehicle after reporting the smell of controlled substances.
Knephoff was charged with 2nd offense possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving without insurance or registration.

His passenger – 19 year old Alexis Wunder of Spencer – was charged with 1st offense possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of tobacco as a minor.
