Lakes Regional Healthcare Announces New Electronic Health Record System

Spirit Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Lakes Regional Healthcare announces a technological upgrade fo health records.

The Spirit Lake hospital is upgrading to Epic, a world-class electronic health record system, that connects your entire care team with real-time information. Officials say the transition begins May 30, and will drastically improve coordination among healthcare providers, helping improve the overall patient experience.

Lakes Regional Healthcare staff have been training extensively for the change but ask patients for patience if checking in takes a few moments longer at first. LRH says it’s important to them to invest in a more connected future.
