Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Area lawmakers say they are not interested in changing the retirement system for public employees in Iowa.
State Representative Megan Jones restated Friday that she does NOT support recommendaitons from the Governor’s committee on government inefficiency.
State Senator Dave Rowley from Spirit Lake told us in an interview last week he thinks IPERS is working well and would not support a change.

State Representative John Wills from Iowa is the Speaker-Pro Tem and says there is no interest in changing IPERS from legislative leadership.
