Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Megan Hanges has worked with Spencer’s Long-Term Record Group since it was formed after the flood. She recently was appointed Executive Director of the group, and says the need remains as we approach the two-year anniversary.

Even more amazingly – Hanges tells KICD News volunteer groups from around the country are still coming to help.

Mennonite Disaster Service has committed to sending crews to Spencer in June and July. The Long Term Recovery Group wants a list of projects to keep them busy.
