Man Wanted After Walking Away from Sioux City Facility

Sioux City, IA (Northwestiowanow) – A Kossuth County man is wanted on weapons charges after failing to return to a residential facility in Sioux City.

23-year-old Michael Sie Lee Street was arrested in April 2022 after firing shots at another person near Veteran’s Park in Algona. He later pled guilty to one count of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and one count of going armed with intent, resulting in a 10-year prison sentence.

Street was admitted to the Sioux City Residential Treatment Facility on July 15 as part of a work release program. On Monday, August 5th, he went to work but never returned. He is described as a White male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 262 pounds.

Anyone with information on Street’s whereabouts is urged to contact their local police department.
