Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Spencer School Board President Bob Whittenburg reflected on the past school year at the Wednesday school board meeting.

Teachers and Administrators took time to recognize the Spencer School Board during the meeting for Iowa School Board Week.  Iowa Association of School Boards designates this week to recognize the contributions board members make towards students’ futures. Whittenburg appreciates it, but deflects the praise back to the school staff.

Spencer Community School Board members include President Bob Whittenburg, Vice President Brea Schmidt, Phil Bieber, Shelby Haak and Chad Irvine.
