Monthly Rural Mainstreet Index Released For March

Omaha, NE (Northwestiowanow.com) — The monthly measurement of the Midwest economy by Creighton University fell from 47.9 in February to 40.9 in March.

 

 

Economist Ernie Goss says the Iowa numbers sank from 46.5 to 39.7.

 

 

The Rural Mainstreet Index survey agricultural banker in ten midwestern states to rate the current economy on a scale of 100 with 50 being neutral.
