New Alta Restaurant Becomes Finalist for Best Burger

Alta, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A new restaurant in the KICD Broadcast area already has a legion of fans. Scooter’s on Main in Alta – owned by Jonathan Borjas received enough online votes to make the finals in this year’s Best Burger contest sponsored by the Iowa Beef Industry Council.

 

 

Scooter’s on Main is open Tuesday through Saturday serving food from 11am to 9pm.

 

 

The burgers at Scooter’s on Main are Iowa beef, flavored with a hand-made seasoning, and cooked on a flattop grill.

The other nine finalists in the contest are all located East of Interstate 35.

The Iowa Beef Industry Council will announce the winner May 1st to kick off Iowa Beef Month.
