New Location Proposed in Emmetsburg Elementary Bond Issue

Emmetsburg, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A petition is currently circulating to bring up a bond issue for a new Emmetsburg Elementary School.
     Superintendent Cory Jenness tells KICD News the school board is proposing a different location the third time around based on community input.

And the pay-back schedule for the 65 thousand square foot building keeps getting altered.

Under state law the only date permissible for school bond elections in Iowa is now the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
