NWS Confirms No Tornado in Northwest Iowa Storm; Baseball-Sized Hail Reported

Sioux Falls, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — The Emergency Weather Coordinator with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has confirmed for KICD News the severe weather in Northwest Iowa earlier this week was NOT a tornado.

Peter Rogers also reminds you that even past Labor Day … severe weather can break out at any time.

Some localities between Vermillion, South Dakota and Sibley, Iowa reported baseball sized hail Tuesday night.
