Primghar, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The 896 residents of Primghar have supported their local hardware store up until now, and the owners of the hardware store in Paullina are taking it over with help from the O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation.

Eric and Heidi Brown – who have operated Paullina Hardware for seven years – say they’re excited to take over a business that has been important to the community, and plan to expand inventory according to the unique needs of Western O’Brien County.

The board of the Development Corporation has approved usage of the county’s revolving loan fund, which was created to attract, retain, or expand local business. Development Director Kiana Johnson says the Browns have shown a true spirit of entrepreneurship at their flagship store.
