Okoboji Entrepreneurial Institute Celebrates 20 Years

Vice President of Community Development with the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation Alyssa Peterson says the anniversary was celebrated over the weekend.

OEI hosts students from six Iowa colleges and universities, including Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, the University of Northern Iowa, Iowa Lakes Community College, Buena Vista University, and Dordt University.

Peterson says the program provides students with opportunities to connect with area business leaders and learn about entrepreneurial and career opportunities available in northwest Iowa.

One of the highlights of the week is the annual business pitch competition.
