Emmetsburg, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A Palo Alto County jury has found an Ida Grove man guilty of several sex-related crimes.
40-year-old Jessy Demoss was arrested by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s department following an investigation of alleged incidents occurring between January 2017 and September of 2023. After a three-day trial the jury found him guilty Thursday of three counts of 2nd degree sexual abuse, and one count of lascivious acts with a child. He’s currently being held at the Palo Alto County jail awaiting his sentencing from a judge later this month.
