Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Incumbent State Senator David Rowley from Spirit Lake has announced his campaign for re-election. He says he’s comfortable running on his record.

The Dickinson County Republican says he enjoys working on tax and business issues.

Rowley says his approach to the Senate job is to work with members of the House – and to consult with minority Democrats.

Dave Rowley was elected in 2021 to fill out the remainder of a term, and elected to a full-four years in 2022. District 5 covers Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, Palo Alto and a portion of Clay County.
