Sioux City, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Girls Swim team traveled to Sioux City on Thursday evening for the Metro Pentathlon, going up against Lewis Central of Council Bluffs and Sioux City Metro.
In the 50y Free, Lewis Central’s Madeline Knispel won with 25 seconds. Spencer’s Halle Sears was 2nd at 25.43 and Aubrey Paterson was 3rd at 25.87.
For the 50y Fly, Sears picked up the win for the Tigers with a time of 27.72 seconds. Paterson was 3rd at 28.56.
The 50y Back was also won by Sears with a time of 29.04. Emerson Wittrock tied for 3rd with Elise Knispel of Lewis Central at 29.56.
Sears took 1st in the 50y Breast with a time of 32.35 seconds and Paterson finished 3rd at 34.9.
The Pentathlon concluded with the 100y Individual Medley. Sears won again with a time of 1:02.73.
The Tigers came away with the overall win, scoring 338.5 team points. Lewis Central of Council Bluffs was 2nd at 223.5, and Sioux City Metro was 3rd at 213.
