Sheldon, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The major renovation and additions to the Sheldon High School are causing a delay in fall classes at the high school – but the high school only.
Superintendent Cory Myer says 9th through 12th graders will make up that lost week incrementally.
New classrooms are being added on the West side of the high school and a new central office and athletic areas are being added to the East. Some of the transitions within the school will take place during the school year.
The delayed start at the Sheldon High School comes from unanticipated internal issues with the old heating and air conditioning system.
