Sheldon Man Dies in Harrison County Mishap

Magnolia, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Iowa State Patrol reports a Sheldon man died of injuries received in a rollover accident involving a Polaris Ranger Saturday evening.
The accident reports says the operator was 64 year old Kathleen Sterler of Sheldon who was Eastbound on Highway 127 approximately four miles West of Magnolia in Harrison County. Around 6:20 the vehicle left the highway near the intersection with Irwin Avenue and rolled. She received non-life-threatening injuries, but her passenger – 70 year old William Sterler – sustained fatal injuries. He was transported to the Missouri Valley Emergency Room.
The accident remains under investigation. Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
