Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Two organizations remind you that the Christmas Shopping season is “make or break” for many local retailers. Spencer Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shariffa Jones says the Christmas Cash program is back this year, but with a discount!

And Nancy Naeve from Spencer Mainstreet says the annual Men’s Shopping Night is this Thursday, a little earlier than in previous years.

The National Chamber of Commerce estimates that every dollar spent in your local community turns over seven times.
