Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Spencer Community Theatre has set the main stage schedule for the coming year.

Board members Connie Goecken and Steve Duetch made the announcement on KICD’s Big Interview Program.

Last year there were two musicals and one play, so this year there will be two plays and one musical.

Leading off the schedule is a comedy murder mystery written by authors who worked on Columbo and Murder She Wrote.

 

Another comedy – “Leaving Iowa” – will be performed locally for the first time.

 

And SCT is bringing in a ringer – Fiddler on the Roof – for the big scale musical production.

 

Rehearsal for Murder runs October 30th through November 7th; Fiddler on the Roof plays February 19th through the 27th, and Leaving Iowa will be performed April 9th through the 17th.

Auditions for the murder mystery are September 8th and 9th.
