Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Girls Golf team hosted the SHS Girls Invite on Monday at the Spencer Golf and Country Club.
Morgan Irvine of Spencer was the Medalist, shooting an 81 on the day, good for 9 over Par.
Spencer’s Isla Ward was Runner-Up with 90, 18 over Par. It was a windy day, Ward talked about how she battled through it.
Spencer would pack the top 15 with Gretchen Haak, Maddie Stickrod, Kendra Manwarren, and Hallie Brown all shooting 106 or better.
Manwarren and Brown each shot a 106 on the day. Manwarren talked about the Tigers’ depth.
Hallie Brown has been playing some strong golf in the last few competitions for Spencer. Brown told Northwest Iowa Now what has been going right.
