Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow.com) – The Hardee’s location in Spencer has permanently closed.

It was recently announced that all Hardee’s locations in Sioux City had shut down. While no official statement has been made about Spencer, the restaurant at 704 S Grand Avenue is no longer listed on the company’s website as an active location. The only Northwest Iowa locations still shown are Holstein, Sheldon, Storm Lake, and Estherville.

The Spencer Hardee’s had undergone renovations following the 2024 flood that impacted the city.

KICD has reached out to Hardee’s parent company, CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc., for comment on the future of its Northwest Iowa locations but has not yet received a response.
