The induction continues a long tradition of academic excellence in Spencer and Keynote Speaker Sheriffa Jones delivered a reminder that good grades only go so far, it’s the student’s character and service that defines their legacy.

***fun fact: Spencer is known for educational resilience, after putting $4000 towards a new school building in 1879, which was a massive investment at the time. The city became an independent school district in 1874.
