Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Spencer Hospital’s Training Center has earned national recognition as one of the first programs in the country to receive the American Heart Association All-Star designation.

This inaugural award reflects the center’s exceptional commitment to high-quality CPR education and its adherence to strict emergency cardiovascular care guidelines.

As the only training center in the region to make the initial list, the facility supports over 250 instructors across Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Established in 2009, the center provides vital training in AED use, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support to strengthen the regional chain of survival.
