Spencer, IA (Northwestiowa.com) — There was a house fire in Spencer Wednesday night. Callers said they observed 20-foot flames coming from the garage at 326 East 19th Street. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Stoever was the first to arrive and spoke to KICD News after the blaze was out.

The Clay County Assessor’s website lists the owner as Tyler Carney.
