Spencer Swimming Sweeps Competition in Atlantic

Atlantic, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Swim team competed in a Triangular against Atlantic and Carroll at the Nishna Valley Family YMCA in Atlantic.

Halle Sears picked up Spencer’s first win in the 200y Individual Medley, clocking 2:16.94.

Ava Vogt won the 50y Free for the Tigers, swimming 27.46.

Sears came back in the 100y Fly to win with a time of 1:01.33.

In the 100y Free, Spencer’s Aubrey McFarland won with a time of 59.86 seconds.

The Spencer 200y Free Relay team of Maisy Schmidt, Vogt, McFarland, and Sears won with a time of 1:49.75.

McFarland picked up another win in the 100y Backstroke with a time of 1:07.59.

For the 400y Free Relay, Spencer’s team of Schmidt, Vogt, McFarland, and Sears combined for a time of 4:01.95 to win.

Spencer beat Carroll 61-33 and Atlantic 71-20 on the night to stay unbeaten in Duals on the year.
