Spirit Lake Police Arrest Man Wanted by Feds

Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Spirit Lake police arrested a local man Thursday after federal authorities allegedly intercepted a package containing 22 grams of methamphetamine.

Police Chief Shilo Brevik says 24-year-old Dev Mehta went to the post office August 11th, to inquire about a package that had been detained. He was charged with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
