Sioux Rapids, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — State Representative Megan Jones from Sioux Rapids is proud of the Property Tax reform bill passed by the Iowa Legislature in the closing day of the session. She also believes the “Three-strikes and you’re out” law that passed is a signature piece of legislation.

The seven-term Republican also managed the successful bill that will increase the 55 miles per hour speed limit on two-land roads to 60.

Jones represents House District #6 that includes Spencer and Storm Lake. She is seeking an 8th term this year and is unopposed in the June Primary.
