Storm Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The Friends of the Storm Lake Public Library have launched their annual fundraising campaign for the holiday season. This is the only fundraiser for the non-profit volunteer organization, which is a vital resource for the community.

The money raised supports library furnishings, materials, and educational programs for both adults and children. A key project planned for 2026 is the renovation of the library’s children’s department, including the replacement of the computer station.

You can support the library by making a donation at the library itself or by mailing a check, payable to “Friends of the Storm Lake Library,” to 609 Cayuga Street, Storm Lake, IA 50588.

In addition, the library is offering four different gift baskets available by silent bid, which make ideal Christmas gifts. Stop by the library to view the baskets and place your bid.
