Strouth Emphasizes Employee Recruitment During Manufacturing Month

Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — October is National Manufacturing Month. Iowa Great Lakes Corridor Development Corporation CEO Curt Strouth says you have the opportunity to visit a factory in each of the four-county trade area starting with Redwood Farms in Emmet County Thursday.

The Corridor continues its effort to recruit workers to the area, and Strouth tells KICD News they are now targeting local youth who are now making career decisions.

Strouth says there are approximately 65 hundred manufacturing jobs in the Corridor currently, with employers saying they would expand if they could find more employees
