O’Brien County, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The O’Brien County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday to take care of some official business, including approving payments and adopting new bylaws.
A key action was the adoption of new Board of Supervisors bylaws, with the motion passing unanimously. The supervisors also approved a significant number of claims and payroll, totaling over $1.2 million dollars.
Among the notable payments were large amounts for construction, insurance, and payroll. A payment of nearly $240,000 went to Ten Point Construction for services , and over $466,000 was paid for insurance to Perspective Insurance. The county’s payroll for this period was just over $568,000.
The meeting concluded with the board adjourning until next Monday, August 18th.
