Tiger Girls Roll at Kuemper Girls Wrestling Tournament

Carroll, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Girls Wrestling Team had a big night in Carroll at the Kuemper Tournament.

Kiara Ruiz picked up a Championship at 100 for the Tigers.

Madison Stickrod of Spencer won at 105.

Jada Mingus-Alfaro claimed the title at 110 for the Tigers

Spencer’s Rylee Nehman was 1st place at 125.

Kyiah Logan gave the Tigers another Champ at 135.

Spencer’s Bailey Schuster was 2nd at 155.

At 170, the Tigers’ Abigail Young took 1st.

Pocahontas Area’s lone top 3 finisher was Mady Ahlrich at 235.

Spencer dominated the team score, winning the Tournament with 161 points.  Kuemper Catholic of Carroll was 2nd with 135.5 and Western Iowa rounded out the top 3 at 132.

Pocahontas Area would finish 8th with 41.
