Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – GTRA/ELC, Sheldon/South O’Brien, Sibley-Ocheyedan, and Spirit Lake/Park competed at the Wester Christian Girls Wrestling Invite.

At 105, Cassie McKeen of Spirit Lake/Park took 2nd.

Audrina Bennett of Spirit Lake/Park was 2nd at 110 with GTRA/ELC’s Terra Swedin taking 3rd.

Trista Guinn of GTRA/ELC was the Champion at 115.

Myla Fisher of GTRA/ELC won 120 with Sheldon/South O’Brien’s Melissa Barber taking 3rd.

Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Lillie Marco took 2nd at 125.

GTRA/ELC had Addaley Girres take 2nd at 130 with Charlee Kruger of Sheldon/South O’Brien in 3rd.

At 135, Reece Logan of Spirit Lake/Park was 2nd.

140 had Isabelle Harris of GTRA/ELC win the bracket.

GTRA/ELC also had Braelyn Henaman take 3rd at 145.

Sheldon/South O’Brien’s Kollyns Moser was 3rd at 235.

Hinton/SB-L won the team title with 236.5 points, GTRA/ELC was 2nd with 181, and Western Iowa took 3rd with 168. Spirit Lake/Park was 6th, Sheldon/South O’Brien 8th, and Sibley-Ocheyedan took 9th.

Okoboji/HMS collided with Emmetsburg, Central Lyon/George-Little Rock, and Sioux Central for a dual meet Quad.

Emmetsburg fell to CL/GLR 60-12, Sioux Central beat Emmetsburg 30-29, Okoboji/HMS won against Emmetsburg 60-18, the Pioneers also beat Sioux Central 42-41, and Sioux Central fell to CL/GLR 54-28.

Botht he Iowa Lakes Men and Women’s Soccer teams played their 2nd round of Pool play at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament on Tuesday.

The Laker Women lost to Northwest Mississippi 2-0, bringing their season to an end.

Iowa Lakes’ Men also took a loss to bring their season to an end, giving up two late goals to Pima to lose 2-0.
